• Half power, half the audience?

• • A common delusion is that a station operating at half power will lose half its audience!
  • If this were the case, half the audience wouldn't be able to use a VCR with their TV set, as it cuts the power to the TV in half!
  • Even at UHF, for a properly designed station the impact of half power operation is minimal.
